Our Culture
Our target is to be the most sought after transport company to work for in New Zealand.
We set out to achieve this by wherever possible approaching the operation through the eyes of our drivers. The major ways we go about this includes:
- Drivers receive a minimum of 40 hours paid per week regardless.
- Bonus scheme to recognise excellence in customer service, presentation and prowess.
- Major company decisions are made with input from the whole team.
- Drivers vote on a charity for the business to donate to every year. This year it was Kaikoura.
- There is a ‘Like’ and ‘Don’t Like’ board in the staff room.
- Fleet cars for drivers to take home if their truck is in the workshop.
- We monitor fleet efficiency using state of the art ERoad telemetry which provides drivers live and historical records of their driving style to assist them in professional development and also ensure training is provided in a timely fashion.
- New trucks go to the safest and most skilled drivers.
- We maintain yards on the North Shore and Takanini so drivers have a minimal commute each day, many take their trucks home, on the clock which is a real benefit to them.
